Day 1: Lima-Cuzco:
Day day hike machu picchu trip
Early transfer to Lima Airport to take a flight to the city
of Cusco. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Rest in the
morning in order to avoid altitude sickness.
In the afternoon, city tour of Cuzco visiting the Main Square,
the Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha and the
Cathedral; take a pleasant walk in the the bohemian district
of San Blas, house to the most re-known craftsmen of Cuzco,
visit its beautiful church, that houses an impressive pulpit,
a filigree woodcarving bearing the fruits of the region and
visit handicraft located in its small Main Square. On our
way back, pass by the Hatunrumiyoc Street where you can appreciate
the Twelve-angled stone. Then, drive out of the city to visit
the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the
impressive fortress of Sacsayhuamán, built strategically
on a hill overlooking Cusco; famous for its enormous carved
stones joined with astounding precision to form the outer
walls. Some of these stones stand over 9m / 30ft tall, and
weight over 350 tons.
Day 2: Inca Trail to
We will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco early in the
morning. Then we will go by bus to the city of Urubamba one
hour from Cusco, where we will have breakfast. After this
break we will go to Chilca where we will begin the trekking
along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
After three hours walking (approximately) we will stop for
lunch. We continue towards our first camp at Wayllabamba,
previously we will have a guided visit to the archaeological
complex of Llactapata. Diner and overnight in tents at the

Early wake up and breakfast. Start the trek towards the
highest point in the Inca Trail where we can observe different
types of microclimates. Then we will arrive to the mountain
pass of Warmiwañusca at 4,200 meters above sea level.
Lunch. We will continue walking until reaching Pacaymayo where
we will have dinner and camp.
Day 4: Inca Trail to
Early wake up and breakfast. We will start the walk towards
the second most important pass of the Inca Trail at 3,850
m.a.s.l. First we will have a guided tour of the archaeological
complex of Runkurakay. Later we will visit the Inca citadel
of Sayacmarca. Then we will continue trekking towards the
Inca remain of Puyupatamarca. Lunch. We continue the trek
towards Wiñaywayna, visiting this beautiful Inca citadel.
Dinner and overnight in the camp.
Day 5: Inca Trail to
Breakfast. We start our last day's walk towards our final
destination. the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu. Before
arriving we can appreciate a wonderful view of the Citadel
from a place named Inti Punko (Gate of the Sun). Then we will
enter Machu Picchu and have a guided tour for three hours
approximately. Free time. Meet as a group and descend to the
town of Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included). (*) Afternoon
railcoach service to Cusco for overnight.
Day 6: Return to Lima
After breakfast, transfer to Airport, assistence, end our
