Day 1: Iquitos - Tambo Amazonico Lodge

You will be met at the airport by one of our native guides, trained in Amazon ecology. On the way to the dock you will have a brief tour of the XIX century colonial city, and its places of interest. At the dock board a typical Pamacari boat and navigate on the Amazon River for 4 hours, beginning your adventure.The majestic Amazon River is 4,000 miles long on its way to the Atlantic Ocean, and has 2,000 species of fish. You will see interesting places as you travel the river until you arrive at the Tambo Amazonico Lodge. Lunch.
Tambo Amazonico Lodge, is located in an area of great natural beauty. This wild paradise is full of sounds of birds, monkeys jumping between the trees and the laughter of the children playing on the river. The exuberant forest is home to animals insects and many protected species. You can visit riverside villages to see the great variety of native craft made by hand, using different types of materials offered them by nature.
At night there will be a night expedition in search of alligators. Dinner. Lodging.

Day 2: Tambo Amazonico Lodge

Very early trip to observe the dawn, birds and the pink dolphins. Breakfast. Today, you will get many memorable experiences. Your first trip in the waters of the Black Lake, home of the gigantic "Victoria Regia" aquatic lilac. Lunch.
Visit a community that is devoted to fishing in their daily activities where you will see their handmade methods. Their guide will show you the native life. Here you will appreciate their teaching at their lodge. Mysterious and interesting nocturnal walk, to learn fishing in the darkness with lanterns, using only the hands in the native style. Dinner. Lodging.

Day 3: Tambo Amazonico Lodge

Trip at dawn to observe birds. Breakfast. In the reservation, you will explore the primary forest, where you can see the "hoatzin" that are the birds most representative of this eco-system as they feed on leaves. You will enjoy the impassable greenery of the flora and will appreciate the natural wealth of this dense area amid a great variety of flora and fauna and multicolored birds. Box Lunch. You will see remote lagoons in one of which are pink dolphins, find their refuge and perhaps, have the opportunity to swim with them. Return to the Tambo Amazonico where you can enjoy an Amazon evening. Dinner.
Free evening.

Day 4: Tambo Amazonico Lodge - Iquitos - Lima

Breakfast. Return to Iquitos, on the Amazon River. Arrive at the dock. Transfer to the airport, and your return flight to Lima.
