We pass by Cochas and Lagunillas where you can enjoy the observation of different species of bird and cameloid, until we arrive at the famous "Portón del Colca" or "Ventana del Colca" (4300m), named for its two enormous rock formations. We also stop at "La Pulpera," a small community where we can see the remains of a century-old church.
The next stop is at the 4000 year old caves of Mollepunku, where you can observe carvings and paintings of zoological and anthropomorphic relieves colored in red, yellow, and white. Stones like Jasper and Obsidiana are common to this area.
We continue to Callalli where you can see a geological formation in the style of a gigantic "Feudales" castle. When we arrive to Callalli we pitch our tent at the home of a family in "Llameros" (cameloids farmers) and after lunch we spend the afternoon learning about the customs and the lifestyle of the locals and also visit the village of Callalli. Dinner and overnight in Callalli.
